Students take part in the STEM Workshop
On Thursday, some Stage 1 students in the academy took part in the STEM challenge workshop in Manor Hall.
As part of the workshop, students experimented with solar powered cars and learned how to be environmental managers.
Students were tasked with trying to get their car to move the furthest distance possible. They investigated how different charges could make the car move further.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) Workshops, take place all across the country in primary and secondary schools.
Everybody had a great time experimenting with their cars and learning about the science behind it.
