‘Rainforest in a box’ by Plant Your Future

plant future

The rainforest is a very important biome on our planet and a topic area that we cover in the geography department. The competition is to create a rainforest in a box using a shoebox, or box of a similar size. A key feature of your design should be to show the four distinct layers of the rainforest. Use models to show them some of the specific tree, plant, animal and insects that are found living in the rainforest, and show them at the correct layer they live at. If you want to, you can also use labels to tell us what you’ve learnt about the rainforest. You can use research and the resource pack to help.
