This was supported by pupils’ achievements and outcomes which are now judged to be good.  The quality of leadership at all levels of the academy was highlighted as a strength and staff morale is judged to be high.

They commented on the strong pastoral system which is in place and the impact it is having. With support from the new Heads of Year, the Academy has worked hard to ensure good pupil behaviour, improved attendance and to promote a confident student body who feel both safe and well-supported in lessons and around school.

Dick Vasey CEO of the TTCT stated that, “the Ofsted rating of GOOD validates all the hard work Katrina Kerry, her team of dedicated staff and the students have undertaken during this last 18 months.  Katrina’s appointment of Head Teacher from September 2018 underlines our commitment to drive forward and secure a truly outstanding education for all students, one in which every child who attends The Manor Academy can aspire to achieve their potential in a caring and safe environment”.
