Manor Academy presented with life-saving defibrillator
Manor Academy are extremely pleased to have been presented with a defibrillator as a donation from the charity Heartbeat UK.
Heartbeat UK carried out collections in Mansfield Tesco in order to fund the life-saving machine. Tesco then received the defibrillator, and kindly donated it to Manor.
Presenting the defibrillator was Pam Winchurst, community champion at Tesco Chesterfield Road, and Kelly Revill representing Tesco.
The defibrillator will be kept in reception and no training is needed as the machine talks you through the process. It is the first Defibrillator of its type in the UK.
Thank you to Heartbeat UK, Tesco and everybody who put money in the charity bucket for the generous donation.
